History of Egg Harbor Township Schools Documentary
The long anticipated documentary “EHTPride: a History of Egg Harbor Township School District” was revealed on June 9th in a special screening event that told the story of Egg Harbor Township’s reminiscent educational history as remembered by former students, local historians, and past and present school district leaders.
One of only nine recipients across the state to receive funding, the Community Partnership for Egg Harbor Township Schools utilized the $4,000 Community History Grant from the NJ Council for the Humanities to purchase technology and cover the production costs of the documentary. The screening event, co-hosted by the Greate Egg Harbour Township Historical Society and the Community Partnership, was attended by approximately 100 community members and district stakeholders, as well as Gigi Naglak, director of programs for New Jersey Council for the Humanities.
