EGG HARBOR TWP. ̶ The Community Partnership for Egg Harbor Township Schools, Inc. received a generous $2,000 Walmart grant earlier this month to support their S.A.F.E. (School Action For Emergencies) annual fund campaign.
During the 2017-2018 school year, Egg Harbor Township Schools hosted three public strategic planning meetings to gauge public opinion in shaping the future of the district. Based on input received from parents, community members, students and other stakeholders at those meetings, ‘safety and security’ was identified as one of the top five high-priority needs for the district.
Launched in August 2018, the S.A.F.E. annual fund campaign was designed to raise supplementary funding to support the district’s security plan and upgrades.
Since its inception in 2005, the Community Partnership, a 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity, has raised more than $465,000 for academic enhancement, instructional technology, extra-curricular activities and capital projects for Egg Harbor Township Schools. Donations to the Community Partnership are tax-deductible, as allowable by law.

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP – After launching their new Alumni website in May, Egg Harbor Township Schools is asking former students who haven’t done so already to register and complete a brief survey on the site.
The Alumni Association hopes to form closer bonds with former students, share district job openings and district events, pick their brains about what adult education training courses they would like to see offered, and gain their insight on how the district should grow through advancement and strategic planning.
“One of our district learning goals is building community connections. Each and every day we look to create relationships with students, teachers, parents, and community members. By embracing people within and outside of the school community, we allow ourselves to learn more about their needs. Gaining insight on student, teacher, and community needs provides us with information that will assist us with making Egg Harbor Township the very best that it can be. We are reaching out to our alumni so that we can learn more about them and what they experienced during the time spent with us here at the Egg Harbor Township School District,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Kim Gruccio.
Former students are asked to visit http://www.eht.k12.nj.us/community_resources/alumni_association, register and take the brief survey to help district leaders mold online offerings that fit the needs of graduates and also those who may not have graduated and who want to get their GED. To contact the Alumni Office, please call (609) 646-8441, ext. 1017 or via email to firstname.lastname@example.org .
